Job description

Overview

Accept Recruitment is seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to join a fast-paced logistics and distribution environment. This hands-on leadership role involves overseeing daily warehouse operations from goods receipt to dispatch, ensuring safety, efficiency, and service standards are consistently met.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support warehouse teams to ensure accurate picking, packing, and dispatch
• Enforce Health & Safety policies and maintain a safe working environment
• Monitor quality and highlight any issues to management
• Drive operational efficiency and cost control
• Manage recruitment, training, performance reviews, and staff development
• Conduct daily briefings and allocate workloads
• Track, report, and deliver KPIs in line with business objectives
• Plan resource allocation, including seasonal workforce management
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
• Support investigations, disciplinaries, and absence management
• Maintain strong communication with management and site teams

Skills & Experience

• Proven warehouse supervision or team leadership experience
• Good knowledge of warehouse systems and Health & Safety regulations
• Forklift licences (Flexi & Counterbalance) beneficial but not essential
• Strong organisational, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience managing KPIs and performance targets
• Competent in conducting disciplinaries and managing resources
• PC literate with ability to learn new systems

Desirable Training (or willingness to complete)

• Coaching skills
• Investigation & disciplinary training
• Manual handling and racking inspection
• Right to work compliance, finance, presentation and communication
