Overview

Warehouse Stock Control Administrator – Waltham Abbey – Permanent – Night Shift – Full Time – £14.21/hour

Are you experienced in warehouse operations and equipped with strong administrative, IT, and Microsoft Excel abilities? Centric Talent is on the lookout for a Stock Control Administrator to join our esteemed client, a leading distributor of bathroom, kitchen, and plumbing products, at their warehouse facility in Waltham Abbey.

Work Schedule
  • Full Time: Sunday to Thursday, 10 PM to 6 AM (37.5 hours per week with a half hour unpaid lunch break)
Role Overview

You will be integral in ensuring accurate stock levels within our client's national distribution network. Your primary responsibilities will involve maintaining data integrity, supporting warehouse operations, and swiftly addressing discrepancies to facilitate the seamless operation of the supply chain.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct manual stock counts within a warehouse setting
  • Update stock management system
  • Oversee stock-related communications and escalate issues to the team
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
  • Perform inventory checks
  • Scan and distribute daily delivery notes and manifests to relevant departments
  • Generate and circulate daily/weekly stock reports for internal use
  • Manage stationary supplies
  • Undertake any additional duties as required
Required Experience & Skills
  • Previous experience in stock control, inventory management or administrative roles is preferred
  • Essential: Prior strong experience in a warehouse environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with inventory management systems is a plus
  • Strong numerical and analytical abilities are crucial
  • Attention to detail and accuracy is essential
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
Shift Details
  • Sunday to Thursday, 10 PM - 6 AM (37.5 hours per week)
  • 23 days of holiday, increasing to 25 days after two years of service
  • Pay rate £14.21 per hour
