Job summary

A leading global telecommunications company is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Greenwich. The position involves operating warehouse equipment, managing inventory, and ensuring accurate shipping documentation. Ideal candidates should have experience in logistics or supply chain, be computer literate, and be able to work 42.5 hours per week. This ongoing contract offers £13.27 per hour, working Monday to Friday. Training on equipment can be provided for motivated individuals.

Warehouse Operator (Logistics Assistant)

Greenwich
£13.27 per hour, 42.5 hours p/w
Mon-Fri, ongoing contract

An experienced warehouse person wanted for a leading global telecommunications company based in Greenwich, SE London.

Key Responsibilities of Warehouse Operator:
  • Operate warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, reach trucks, pallet stackers) - Experience preferred, but training can be provided
  • Load / unload vehicles, move stock, and organise inventory to support production needs
  • Pack goods in line with internal procedures and international packing standards
  • Prepare shipping documentation and ensure on-time dispatch according to set priorities
  • Process stock movement using warehouse/ERP systems (SAP)
  • Handle returns and failed products, co-ordinating with the shipping team
  • Prepare loading plans and dispatch lists
  • Ensure customs documentation is accurate for inbound and outbound goods
  • Order and manage packing materials and recycling shipments
  • Maintain, update, and improve packing procedures where needed
  • Report activities to management and support other warehouse tasks as required
Work times:

07:00-17:00 Mon-Thurs & 07:00 - 15:45 Fri
42.5 hours p/w

Ideal for candidates will be computer literate, and have previous work experience from a warehouse, logistics or supply chain background.
