Warehouse Operative / JCB Driver – Immediate Start Available

This permanent position offers an immediate start, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8am-4:30pm, and a competitive pay rate of £12.77 per hour (£26,561.60 per annum).

Role Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate within a multi-skilled warehouse team to ensure efficient departmental operations.
2. Unload deliveries and place items in designated bin locations.
3. Conduct checks on incoming goods and report any quality control issues.
4. Load containers and trailers safely and correctly, following established procedures.
5. Maintain a tidy and rubbish-free yard.
6. Perform daily checks on the JCB using the T100 system and report any issues.
7. Pick orders accurately.
8. Provide cover for team members during holidays or sickness, ensuring all warehouse tasks are completed.
9. Act as a Yard Banksman.
10. Undertake internal production tasks such as gutter forming and polythene re-reeling.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

1. Previous experience as a Warehouse or Yard Operative is essential.
2. Comfortable working in external conditions, with full workwear provided.
3. Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.
4. A reliable and dependable team player.
5. Proficiency in English and Mathematics.
6. Counterbalance FLT and JCB licences are desirable, though training will be provided.
