  • Undertake any other duties as designated by the line manager.

Here at GXO Sittingbourne, we are recruiting for Warehouse Operative to join our fantastic team within our equipment management network. This warehouse supports the cardboard and plastic recycling process for one of the leading grocery supermarkets, Morrison. The site is a fast paced, diverse environment with plenty of development opportunities available.

You will be working on a full-time, permanent basis, on an ‘any 5 days out of 7’ pattern, covering the hours of 06:00 to 14:00 or 14:00 to 22:00. Choose what suits you best!

Pay, benefits and more:
  • Hourly rate of £12.21
  • 10% premium for hours worked between 17:00 and 20:00
  • 20% premium for hours worked between 20:00 and 22:00
  • Overtime pay at time and a half, paid after 48 hours

What you will do on a typical day:
  • Accurately and safely load and unload vehicles with all customer equipment and waste arriving at the site
  • Safely and efficiently bale cardboard and plastic waste
  • Ensure a hazard-free zone by guaranteeing that all work areas are kept clean and tidy
  • Undertake any other duties commensurate with the position as designated by the line manager
