Job Description Summary
Job Description

Role Purpose Ensure accurate and efficient material throughput from pack to ship in support of customer on-time delivery and business needs. This role emphasizes receiving and handling material, storage, packing, and transport to aerospace standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support Packing/Dispatch team in daily shipping processes
  • Receive, verify, process, and receipt goods into the dispatch area
  • Pack goods to prescribed specifications
  • Record supplier Certificates of Conformance (C of C’s) and pack slips
  • Drive company vehicle onsite to collect goods from predetermined points
  • Recognize and action non-conformances, escalating as required
  • Communicate queries to the appropriate person in a timely manner
  • Update business systems with accurate packing data
  • Comply with all Dispatch Procedures
  • Perform system and paperwork checks to ensure accuracy and completeness
  • Execute physical movement of stock; track and control inventory
  • Housekeeping: Maintain cleanliness and organization in the warehouse to ensure safety and efficiency
  • Packing material stock control and ordering
  • Cover deliveries and scanning to ensure accurate and timely processing of incoming goods
  • Support Return Material Authorization (RMA) processes, including handling and processing returned goods
  • Flexibility to support other areas within the CH20 building, including Stores, Receiving, or Packing, as needed due to workload, holidays, or illness
Experience and Knowledge Required
  • Proactive self-starter with a can-do attitude; good communicator
  • Valid driving license; FLT license desirable
  • Working knowledge of material handling requirements, including ESD, HazMat, and MSD
  • Demonstrated understanding of aerospace material handling and controls
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • Working knowledge of ERP and MRP systems
  • Warehousing background with customer-focused approach; comfortable working with people at all levels
  • High attention to detail and a practical, problem-solving approach
  • High levels of energy, drive, and commitment
  • IT literate; confident user of PC packages and planning systems
