A&G Resourcing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of our client based in Newport for a Warehouse Manager or Team leader to cover a temporary absence in their Newport unit. This is a hands‑on managerial role with responsibility for leading a small team and ensuring smooth warehouse operations.

Role Overview

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure exceptional experiences for B2B and online customers. You’ll focus on system improvements, departmental coordination, and people development, with support from the Operations and Projects lead. You will anticipate and resolve fulfilment issues, providing feedback across the business to maintain consistent service quality for both online and in‑store customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead daily warehouse operations, including picking, packing, and dispatch
  • Maintain accurate stock control and inventory systems
  • Train, support, and motivate your team, fostering a positive and productive environment
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for efficiency, accuracy, and service
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure timely deliveries and maintain high customer satisfaction
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to system enhancements
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, food safety, and quality standards
Requirements
  • Proven experience in warehouse, fulfilment, or packing roles
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to manage and develop a small team
  • Strong organisational, problem‑solving, and communication skills
  • Forklift experience desirable but not essential
