Job summary

A logistics company in Scotland is seeking a warehouse operative to maintain safety standards and ensure excellent customer service. The role includes collaborating with team members, operating a laser guided saw, and safely storing goods. Ideal candidates will have a forklift truck certificate and previous warehouse experience, demonstrating a commitment to high customer service standards. This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule, with hours from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Forklift truck certificate/Counterbalance required, even if expired.
• Must demonstrate an understanding of excellent customer service.
• Operational experience using a laser guided saw is essential.
• Previous warehouse experience is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Maintain health, safety, hygiene, and security standards.
• Liaise with colleagues regarding orders and deliveries.
• Support warehouse colleagues in producing customer orders.
• Receive and safely store goods in the warehouse.
• Operate a laser guided saw for customer orders.
• Perform other reasonable duties as requested.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain standards of health and safety, hygiene and security of the work environment and products
• Liaise with internal colleagues in regards to customer orders and deliveries
• Support colleagues in the warehouse ensuring products are produced in line with customer requirements and are of an excellent standard
• Receive and store goods in the warehouse in a safe manner
• Operate a laser guided saw to produce customer orders
• Any other reasonable duties as requested by management

Person Specification – Essential
