Job Title: Warehouse FLT Driver (nights only)

Location: Stoke on Trent

Salary: £14.58 to £15.21 per hour (rates vary by shift times)

Hours: Monday to Friday – 20:30 to 06:00 (TBC by line manager)

Compensation:

• Nights - 22:00 - 06:00 - £15.21/hour
• Other shifts as listed - £14.58/hour

Key duties & responsibilities

• The role will entail the efficient receipt, storage and dispatch of all customers’ goods to ensure they are received and dispatched appropriately and productivity to established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Unloading and loading cargo to and from warehouse and vehicles by using a forklift truck, pallet truck, VNA MHE or by hand.
• Loading international groupage trailers in accordance with loading plans. Pick and pack orders to ensure they are delivered on time and in full.
• Wrap and unwrap of goods.
• Stock management.
• Check loads for damaged or missing items upon receipt.
• Keep careful records of everything that comes in and goes out of the warehouse.

Key Skills and Qualifications

• Applicants must have worked in a logistics/warehouse environment and have experience loading/unloading vehicles and operating a Counterbalance Forklift truck.
• Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driving licence is essential.
• Previous experience in loading international groupage trailers would be an advantage.
• Order picking and stock counting.
• Basic numeracy, literacy and computer skills.
• Ability to function well as part of a team.
• Diligent attention to detail and safety.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Punctual, reliable and professional.
