Job description
Overview

Within this role you will ensure smooth, accurate, and efficient warehouse operations through effective stock handling, shipping coordination, and administrative support. You’ll play a key part in maintaining high operational standards and enabling timely, reliable delivery of goods to customers.

Responsibilities
  • Check, verify, and double-count all incoming deliveries.
  • Check off goods leaving the building, ensuring correct items, addresses, and secure packaging.
  • Pack goods in line with hazardous goods regulations.
  • Prepare stock for courier collection, including palletising items.
  • Prepare stock for recycling, including safe palletisation.
  • Assist with measuring and recording weight and dimensions for outbound shipments.
  • Manage daily interactions with couriers.
  • Ensure international shipments are accurate, correctly labelled, and documented before dispatch.
  • Support return processes, checking condition and eligibility for credit.
  • Perform routine stock checks across warehouse locations.
  • Support two full stock audits per year (may include a Saturday).
  • Keep aisles and stock areas organised, tidy, and efficiently maintained.
  • Work with Operations daily to track, locate, and manage kit.
  • Liaise with the Cardinal team regarding picking operations.
  • Support the Advania Configuration team with goods when required.
  • Work closely with Operations on returns, stock issues, and equipment tracking.
Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse experience is beneficial (but not essential).
  • Strong computer literacy, with confident use of Microsoft 365 - particularly Excel, - Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, and Word.
  • Ability to work proactively and use initiative without constant supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a warehouse environment and willing to take on hands-on tasks.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage changing priorities.
  • Quick learner with a flexible, "can-do" attitude.
  • Reliable all-rounder who enjoys being part of a fast-paced operations team.
