Receptionist -- Broadway Health Park (Job Share)
Hours: Mondays and Tuesdays, 08:30 - 18:00
Broadway Health Park is looking for a friendly and proactive individual to become a key part of our team. In this job share role, you will provide essential reception and administrative support across two inpatient wards, helping to maintain a smooth and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff.
Working closely with your counterpart, you\u2019ll ensure continuity of service through effective communication and handover practices. Your contribution will be instrumental in upholding our commitment to delivering exceptional care and a positive experience for everyone who walks through our doors.
Key Responsibilities
Reception and Administration: Provide a seamless receptionist and administrative service for the inpatient wards at Broadway Health Park, and wider teams based upstairs in the building, collaborating with our current receptionist (Wed to Fri) to ensure coverage from Monday to Friday.
Customer Service: Deliver a friendly, efficient reception, offering advice and information to patients, visitors, and colleagues.
Workload Management: Organise your own workload while coordinating with other administrators and secretaries to provide comprehensive administrative support.
Trust Values: Uphold the trust\u2019s values and core standards in all your interactions.
Flexibility: Be adaptable and ready to provide cover when colleagues are on leave if able.
As the ward receptionist, you will need to be patient and polite in your communications, maintaining a professional approach when interacting with patients, visitors, and all members of our multidisciplinary team. This is a busy role that requires an empathetic individual with exceptional organisational skills, the ability to prioritise a busy workload, and keen attention to detail. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
