Annual Salary: Competitive Salary
Hours: 35 hours per week across a 7-day rota basis

What you will do:

  • Lead the clinical and operational management of the ward, ensuring the delivery of high-quality nursing care
  • Coordinate patient care and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team for seamless admission and discharge processes
  • Foster a culture of learning and development, empowering staff through mentorship and training
  • Implement risk management and safeguarding protocols, ensuring all staff are equipped to handle complex situations
  • Oversee budgets and participate in service business planning to drive the organisation’s success
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, carers, and colleagues, advocating for individuals’ needs and preferences
  • Ensure compliance with the Mental Health Act and related legislation to protect patient rights
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and positive environment for staff and patients alike
  • Encourage continuous improvement through audit processes and feedback management
