Overview

Our 37 bedded mixed speciality ward 14 cares for patients across a wide range of surgical pathways, offering excellent scope for professional development. We provide high quality, safe, and compassionate care for patients undergoing both elective and emergency procedures, working closely with multidisciplinary teams to achieve the best possible outcomes.

This is a dynamic and varied ward where no two days are the same. You will gain exposure to a broad range of surgical specialties, build advanced clinical skills, and be supported by an experienced team who value teamwork, learning and patient centred care.

We are looking for motivated, enthusiastic, and resilient individuals who thrive in a busy ward setting and are committed to delivering outstanding care. As Ward Manager you will take responsibility for the clinical, operational and managerial leadership of this surgical ward. You will be pivotal in ensuring excellent standards of patient care, safety and experience are maintained, while supporting a high performing, engaged, and well supported nursing team.
