We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and proactive individual to join our management team as a Ward manager and work with us in the beautiful Whitby location, leading the 16 bedded rehabilitation inpatient unit.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage inpatient unit operations and staff.
  • Develop and deliver high quality rehabilitation care and symptom control.
  • Build effective working relationships with primary and secondary care, social care and voluntary sector services.
  • Initiate and drive forward changes to service delivery, systems and processes.
  • Comply with national policies, legislation and Trust standards.
Qualifications and experience
  • Live register or equivalent professional registration relevant to the post.
  • Postgraduate or equivalent experience in service development, managing change, leading and managing staff.
  • Demonstrable experience working in rehabilitation or community inpatient ward.
  • Proven leadership and management experience delivering positive impact and change.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to lead multi-agency partnership.
