A large healthcare provider is looking for a Health Records Service Coordinator in Glasgow. The role involves supervising Health Records staff, ensuring efficient service delivery to patients and managing workflows. To co‑ordinate an efficient Health Records Service to Patients, General Practitioners, Medical and Nursing Staff, ensuring that the workload is prioritised on a daily basis. The workload of the department encompasses Inpatients, Outpatients and Day Cases.
The post holder will be responsible for day to day supervision of Health Records staff, prioritising workloads, granting leave and organising cover, maintaining workflow and ensuring that targets and deadlines are met.
The post holder is expected to respond to difficult situations involving patients or their relatives and may play a leading role in seeking resolution, and only escalating the problem to a more senior level where necessary.
Please note this is a GGC wide post and can be moved to any location, however initial base will be Glasgow Royal Infirmary
