Advance Housing & Support Ltd in Bournemouth is recruiting Waking Night Support Workers to help people with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs live the lives they choose. You will work 27-hour or 36-hour contracts, overnight shifts, with flexible hours and opportunities for progression.

No prior care experience is required; values and empathy matter. You will follow care plans, maintain records, and participate in training while benefiting from benefits including flexible hours,

Qualifications

• Values-driven with willingness to learn and support others.
• Able to work effectively in a small team and independently.
• Clear communication with customers, families and colleagues.
• Commitment to accurate care records and documentation.
• Willingness to complete the Care Certificate and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
• Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night
• Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required)
• Medication administration (if required)
• Support with independent skills
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
• Keeping up to date with your training
• Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety
• Supporting with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
