Advance is seeking a Female Waking Nights Support Worker in Sarisbury Green, Southampton, to support customers with learning disabilities/autism/complex needs. The role is 18 hours per week, with night shifts (Mon-Sun) and weekends/holidays. Salary is £12,508.15 per year.

Qualifications

• No prior care experience required.
• Values, compassion and dedication to helping people.
• Able to work every other weekends.
• Literacy and numeracy in English required.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
• Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night
• Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required)
• Medication administration (if required)
• Support with independent skills
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
• Keeping up to date with your training
• Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety
• Supporting with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
