Advance Housing and Support Ltd. is hiring a Waking Night Support Worker in Christchurch, Bournemouth BH23 1ES. You will work night shifts (27 or 36 hours per week) with duties including personal care, safety checks, and supporting with meals and daily activities.

No prior care experience is required; we value your empathy, values and motivation to help people with learning disabilities and autism. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• No previous care experience required; values, passion and determination to help people with autism or learning disabilities are valued.
• Must be able to work alternate weekends and either 3 or 4 waking night shifts per week.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene if needed.
• Keeping the premises secure and safe at night.
• Assisting with meals and food preparation if required.
• Medication administration if required.
• Supporting development of independent skills.
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans.
• Staying up to date with training.
• Regular checks to ensure customer safety.
• Domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
