Advance Housing & Support is seeking a Waking Night Support Worker in Camborne to help residents with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs to live the lives they choose. The role involves night-time care, safety checks, personal care if required, and documenting care plans.

You will work 27 contracted hours per week across weekends and nights, with training provided. No sponsorship required; DBS required; opportunities to progress within Advance.

Qualifications

• Experience not required in care; values and determination matter.
• Able to work 3 nights per week and alternate weekends.
• Able to follow a care plan and complete records.
• Literacy and numeracy in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene if required.
• Keep premises secure and safe during the night.
• Support with meals and food preparation if required.
• Administer medication if required.
• Support independent living skills.
• Keep accurate records and update care plans.
• Keep training up to date.
• Monitor customer safety with regular checks.
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry.
