Childrens Home Ipswich is recruiting for Waking Night Support Workers now! We are looking for enthusiastic, caring and passionate people to become an integral part of our support team. In this role, you will support our young people and you will be required to be alert and observant at all times. In addition to regular checks on the children and young people you will be assigned additional tasks.

Responsibilities and Expectations

Support children’s safety, health and wellbeing during overnight hours. Conduct regular checks on children and young people. Perform additional assigned tasks as required. Maintain observation and attentiveness at all times.

  • Resilience – you will support children with emotional and behavioural difficulties, autism, ADHD and associated difficulties.
  • Communication – communicating with our young people and relaying information to other staff.
  • Organisation – update care plans and report relevant information.
  • Caring – provide the best care to our young people.
