The scope includes customer facing services that support associates every day, such as IT operations, service experience, collaboration, and digital workplace, while also overseeing the Operational Technology function, which safeguards factory environments and strengthens the connection between IT and manufacturing across Mars global network.

The Vice President, Enterprise Delivery Services is responsible for setting the strategic direction and leading the execution of Mars’ global infrastructure and operational capabilities, ensuring technology foundations reliably enable business objectives and support innovation. Acting as a trusted partner to senior leadership and strategic technology partners, the role fosters strong collaboration, governance, and continuous improvement across Mars’ global technology ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Optimize value and performance: Establish a culture focused on value creation, prioritization, and efficiency. Oversee budgets, benefits realization, and performance metrics, ensuring commercial discipline and measurable business outcomes.
  • Strengthen governance and partnerships: Define and maintain architecture roadmaps, standards, and operating models that guide internal teams and third-party suppliers. Conduct regular supplier reviews to ensure accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Lead high-performing teams: Provide direction, coaching, and performance management to the Infrastructure and Operations Services leadership team, fostering accountability, collaboration, and professional growth.
  • Engage and influence stakeholders: Build strong partnerships across the business, collaborating with senior leaders to align priorities and balance enterprise demand with delivery capacity.
  • Leverage strategic partnerships: Develop and maintain relationships with key technology partners and industry advisory groups to shape strategic direction, accelerate innovation, and deliver transformative initiatives.

This is a global role with broad scope, responsible for leading a high-performing and highly engaging team of over 300 Mars associates, with influence over 400+ indirect team members, ensuring strong team development, engagement, and sustained performance. The role operates closely with strategic external technology partners, leveraging these relationships to deliver value and drive excellence within Mars technology ecosystem. It requires active partnership with business and technology leaders to optimize the end-to-end design, delivery, and support of core and foundational IT services, while contributing to enterprise-wide architecture standards and supporting technical due diligence for new technology introductions. The role also leverages internal and external networks to remain informed on emerging innovations and industry standards, ensuring Mars stays at the forefront of technology capabilities.
