A global data centre provider in Greater London seeks a General Counsel to lead its legal department and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. The role includes advising the CEO, overseeing corporate governance and risk management, and managing a team. Ideal candidates will have over 10 years of PQE experience, knowledge in real estate or construction, and strong negotiation and interpersonal skills. This position is critical for aligning legal frameworks with business goals.

The General Counsel will lead our corporate Legal department and is responsible for all Legal affairs of our global organisation. This includes our governance, risk and compliance teams. This role will be responsible for providing Legal counsel to the CEO, the executive leadership team, the board and other senior management.
This role is a critical part of the senior leadership team and will be responsible for building and expanding the legal department, creating scalable frameworks, and embedding a strong culture of compliance and risk management. The successful candidate will ensure the organisation is positioned to achieve its strategic goals while effectively managing legal and regulatory risk.
