A leading conservation organization in Stockport is seeking a Volunteering Experience Co‑ordinator to enhance volunteer management and create an inclusive, high-quality experience. This role involves supporting the Community, Participation & Volunteering Manager, overseeing recruitment and recognition processes, and establishing strong relationships with volunteers. The ideal candidate should have a background in volunteer coordination, strong communication skills, and the ability to use data effectively. A permanent contract is offered with various employee perks.

We're looking for a Volunteering Experience Co‑ordinator to join Lyme to deliver a high quality volunteering experience that is inclusive, flexible and offers public benefit. Your role will work alongside a team of volunteer managers to support the delivery and diversification of volunteering at Lyme as we embark upon our new organisational strategy. Contract: permanent Hours: 30 hrs per week Salary: £22,506 pro rata (FTE £28,132 per annum) Working pattern: you’ll work every third weekend as well as some bank holidays and additional weekend events.
Nestled between the Peak District and the urban landscape of Manchester, Lyme provides access to nature, beauty and history for many people. You’ll be based on site at Lyme, reporting to the Community, Participation & Volunteering Manager and line managing some teams of volunteers. You will support people through change and deliver positive and inclusive experiences. Excellent local transport links mean you’re able to travel here by public transport or car.
You will be supporting the Community, Participation & Volunteering Manager to develop and deliver Lyme's future plans, sharing your expertise in participatory practice, growing and diversifying volunteering, and leading for an inclusive people culture both on and off property. You’ll be delivering a high Graduation volunteering experience, collaborating with Volunteer Managers to deliverúna end‑to‑end volunteer journey. This will include overseeing recruitment and induction, database management, reward and recognition (including delivering events), resolving issues, training and support. You'll be using data and insights to make effective decisions, ensuring that standards are continually met across the property. Building open and empathetic relationships, you'll expand people's trust and perception of volunteering, welcoming new volunteers and helping to create a positive, inclusive and engaging experience for volunteers, communities, and partners. You'll be making a difference, adapting to change and dealing with issues as they ազատυνα.
