Volunteer Driver - Hospice

An exciting opportunity has come available for a Volunteer Driver to transport patients to and from appointments in the surrounding area.

The volunteer is required to work within the list of tasks identified as follows:

  • Provide transport for people wishing to get to appointments. This may be to access health appointments, to participate in an activity or to assist in-patients with home leave.
  • Offer reassurance and engage in conversation as appropriate during the journeys.
  • Report any concerns to the Supervisor / Service Manager.
  • Please note: Mileage and out of pocket expenses will be covered. Proof of a clean driving licence, insurance and MOT is essential for this role.
