About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Voids Officer to lead and manage a large trade team within our clients Direct Labour Organisation (DLO). This role is pivotal in delivering a high-quality void refurbishment programme, ensuring empty homes are brought up to standard efficiently and cost‑effectively. You will oversee day‑to‑day operations, manage budgets, and drive continuous improvement across the voids service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and coordinate a large in‑house trade team (16+ staff) to deliver void works.
  • Conduct full property surveys (pre‑ and post‑inspections) and specify required works.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation and foster a positive safety culture.
  • Monitor performance, budgets, and quality standards to achieve value for money.
  • Resolve complaints and contractual issues effectively.
  • Prepare estimates, tender documentation, and manage works orders.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement within the voids service.
  • Participate in the out‑of‑hours management rota (including weekends).

Location: Norfolk (Field‑based)

Salary: £51,400

Hours: 37 per week, Monday‑Friday

Contract: Permanent
