What you’ll do

As a Specialist NOC Engineer, you'll help manage and enhance network infrastructure for both consumer and business products. Working cross-functionally with engineering teams and various stakeholders, you will pro-actively investigate, analyse, and diagnose network issues through thorough examination of the data collation and tool sets provided for network analysis, offering recommendations and undertaking any corrective action.

  • You will undertake or support rapid restoration of network fault resolution within SLA (and prior to critical Service failure where possible)
  • You will Investigate network problems identified using pro-active (management) tools - where possible before critical Services are impacted.
  • You will ensure that incidents are escalated according to the Operational Procedures Document as required.
  • You will develop / follow documented and agreed business processes / procedures and keep abreast of Network Environmental changes (Change Control Process).
  • You will meet / exceed business, department and individual objectives and targets in line with the business, service, and operational requirements.
Who you are
  • You will have strong customer relationship management capabilities with good communication skills.
  • You will demonstrate proficiency in spreadsheet development and data reporting.
  • You will be experienced in delivering work within tight deadlines and high-pressure environments.
  • You will have hands-on experience managing customer-switched networks.
  • You will have CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) and ITIL V3 Qualification is desirable.
