The Water Team forms part of the Division and is comprised of qualified engineers and environmental consultants with specific experience in flood risk, drainage, hydraulic modelling and environmental planning. We are seeking an experienced candidate who can grow this capability in the team, as well as assist in our flood risk workflow.

  • Mentoring junior members of the team.
  • Delivering flood risk assessments and contributing to the production of environmental statements.
  • Working on projects covering a range of client sectors (private developers and public bodies), and scales (plot scale to NSIPs), from pre‑planning to construction.
  • Developing innovative solutions to complex problems, for example flood relief optioneering and watercourse diversions.
  • Providing solutions to technical problems and contributing factual and interpretative reports throughout the lifecycle of a project.
  • Proactively working with other disciplines within the company to deliver an integrated service to our clients.
  • Developing client relationships and new opportunities.
Qualifications
  • A track record of delivering Water Framework Directive Assessments and Water‑based Environmental Statement chapters.

  • The ability to develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers.
