YOUR ROLE

Our Enterprise Data Analytics (EDA) Capability Unit is the home of our experts in data & AI strategy, innovation, transformation and enablement, supporting clients in using advanced data, analytics and AI solutions to solve complex business problems.

This is a high‑profile role in Capgemini Invent, contributing to leadership across both the Enterprise Data Analytics capability unit and our Public Sector client accounts.

As a Vice President in our team, you will be responsible for:

• new business focused on clients in the Public Sector and selling consulting opportunities in excess of £4m per year
• contributing to thought leadership and team management activities
• undertaking a leadership role in one of our core capability areas:
  • Operational Analytics
  • Data and AI Strategy
  • Data and AI Innovation
  • Data and AI Factory

with a focus on tailoring our skills, assets and propositions for the Public Sector.

As a Vice President in Capgemini Invent you’ll help set the direction, driving forward the business, model our values and behaviours, and coach and develop junior members of the team. Key expectations from this role include:

• Working as part of the Capgemini Invent EDA leadership team to grow our capability and develop our offers
• Managing the performance of large teams of data & AI consultants who work cross‑sector, supporting individuals' career growth, guiding L&D priorities and driving recruitment
• Building long‑lasting senior client relationships and creating a sustainable business development pipeline
• Inspiring our Public Sector clients on innovating with AI, data science and analytics in their organisations
• Helping our Public Sector clients to design their data strategies, scale data science solutions and use insight to optimise and automate business decision‑making
• Selling, leading, and managing large delivery programmes with data and analytics at the centre
• Creating thought leadership and new propositions that reflect Capgemini Invent's position as a leading AI, data science and analytics consultancy

As part of your role, you will also have the opportunity to contribute to the business and your own personal growth, through activities that form part of the following categories:

• Business Development - Leading/contributing to proposals, RFPs, bids, proposition development, client pitch contribution, client hosting at events.
• Internal contribution - Campaign development, internal think‑tanks, whitepapers, practice development (operations, recruitment, team events & activities), offering development.
• Learning & development - Training to support your career development and the skills demand within the company, certifications etc.

YOUR PROFILE

You will already be a leader within Public Sector consulting across the field of AI, data and analytics and you want to take your career to the next level. You will have experience at a similar level leading data and AI teams within a large consultancy, and you will have relationships at senior levels in multiple Public Sector client organisations.

Specifically, you will bring:

• Good existing relationships with Senior Clients in the UK Public Sector, focussed on the areas responsible for AI, Data Science and Analytics
• Experience of defining data strategies and shaping the AI or data science services and solutions that deliver the client's vision, integrated across technology and business functions
• A deep understanding of trends in AI and how these are impacting our Public Sector clients
• Experience in leading large data‑driven transformation programmes in the Public Sector

You will also require:

• Strong management consulting experience with proven success in AI, Data Science or Analytics in Public Sector
• A proven track record in new business development / account management in large Public Sector clients across the full sales lifecycle; you will have a personal sales target of circa £4m per annum of consulting business.
• Proven ability to be successful in a matrixed organisation and to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering consulting solutions.
• Credibility and personal impact; you will be respected by colleagues and clients
• Versatility and collaborative in style, empathetic in nature, confident in content and focussed on outcomes at all levels in the client organisation.
• A passion to shape, motivate and deliver AI, Data Science and Analytics work
