A recruitment agency is seeking a Vetting Researcher to join Dorset Police's Professional Standards Department. This hybrid role involves researching and analyzing police databases to support vetting decisions. The ideal candidate will possess strong research and communication skills and understand Data Protection laws. This position offers a full-time contract with an initial 12 weeks office training followed by flexible working arrangements.

Location: Middlemoor (Exeter) / Winfrith (Dorset) - Hybrid Working
Contract: 6 month contract with potential extension
Pay Rate: £14 PAYE per hour / £17.80 Umbrella per hour
Start Date: ASAP (subject to vetting)
Dorset Police is seeking Alliance Vetting Researchers to join the Professional Standards Department, Vetting Unit. This role involves researching, analysing, and evaluating Force, National and bespoke police databases to support vetting decisions in accordance with the Authorised Professional Practice (APP) for Vetting, Vetting Code of Practice, and the Police Code of Ethics.
