Join an award-winning, multi-disciplinary veterinary hospital in Swindon
An outstanding opportunity awaits an experienced Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon with a passion for surgery to join the dynamic team at a renowned, award‑winning veterinary hospital.
This hospital delivers exceptional care across the spectrum—from routine consultations to emergency treatment and advanced referrals. The dedicated multi‑disciplinary team includes specialists in Cardiology, Ophthalmology, Oncology, Surgery, ECC, and Neurology, supported by state‑of‑the‑art facilities: CT scanner, ultrasound and x‑ray suites, extensive operating theatres, a dentistry suite, and a fully equipped laboratory.
Operating 24/7, the hospital provides both emergency services and routine small‑animal primary care, working closely with referral and ECC departments while maintaining distinct teams and workflows.
The successful candidate will join a collaborative group of 13 veterinary surgeons who value open communication, teamwork, and regular case discussions. The role is primarily hospital‑based, with rotations through consulting‑only branches. Opportunities abound beyond clinical work—whether mentoring new graduates, contributing to the Green Team’s sustainability projects, or helping organise the hospital’s lively social events.
This is a rare chance to combine a strong surgical focus with the support of a multi‑disciplinary hospital that champions professional growth and work‑life balance.
Applications are invited from motivated veterinary surgeons ready to thrive in a collaborative, forward‑thinking environment.
