Job summary

Pinebank Vets in Maidstone is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist to join our friendly team. You will greet clients and their pets, book appointments, manage digital records, and handle payments, while supporting the vet and nurse teams.

The role is full time (30-35 hours weekly with a 1:3 Saturday rota) and requires excellent communication, organisational skills, and a passion for animal care. Experience with RxWorks is a major plus.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Veterinary Receptionist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and multitasking.
• Genuine love for animals and client service.
• Proficient with practice software; RxWorks experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming clients and their pets on arrival.
• Book appointments and arrivals.
• Help promote Healthcare Plans for preventative treatment.
• Manage pets' digital records and paperwork.
• Take payments following treatment and deal with queries.
• Liaise with clients regarding queries for appointment booking and medication collection.
