Job summary

DNA Vetcare in Deal is seeking a friendly Veterinary Receptionist to join our award-winning team. You will greet clients and pets, book appointments, process payments and help maintain digital records while supporting the vet and nurse teams.

The role is full-time, 30–40 hours per week with a share of 1:6 Saturdays. A passion for animals, strong communication, and clinic software experience (RxWorks a MASSIVE plus) will help you thrive in our warm, professional environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Veterinary Receptionist.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Genuine love for animals and commitment to client service.
• Proficiency with computer systems; RxWorks is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Welcome clients and their pets on arrival.
• Book appointments and manage arrivals.
• Promote Healthcare Plan for preventive care.
• Book follow-up appointments after initial consultation.
• Assist Vet and Nurse teams with queries and paperwork.
