Job summary

A leading automotive service provider in the UK is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic to join their High Wycombe branch. In this role, you will perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on a variety of motor vehicles, ensuring high standards of workmanship. Ideal candidates will possess level 2 or 3 vehicle maintenance qualifications and an MOT Tester certificate. Skills

Experience in diagnosing and repairing vehicles

Confident working on cars or LCVs

Hybrid/EV training

Education

Level 2 or 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance (IMI, NVQ, or City & Guilds)

MOT Tester certificate (Class 4 preferred)

We are seeking a highly skilled vehicle technician to join our friendly team and assist with the development of our branch. Vehicle Technicians are the backbone of our business and are required to diagnose, repair and service our customers’ vehicles.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or 3 qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance (IMI, NVQ, or City & Guilds)
• MOT Tester certificate (Class 4 at minimum preferred)
• Experience in either main dealer or independent garage
• Confident working on cars or LCVs
• Hybrid/EV trained or open to training
• Have experience working within a car dealership or an independent garage/car supermarket
• Experience of working on commercial vehicles/LCV / cars
