Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Vehicle Technician to join our team. This role involves carrying out inspections, repairs, and servicing on a variety of vehicles to the highest standards. The position is Monday to Friday - no weekend work required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose faults and carry out repairs efficiently and effectively.
  • Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
  • Conduct MOT pre-checks and ensure vehicles meet DVSA standards (if applicable).
  • Maintain accurate service records and complete job cards.
  • Adhere to health and safety procedures.
  • Use diagnostic equipment and follow technical manuals.
  • Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers if needed.
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and procedures.
Requirements
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance (or equivalent).
  • Proven experience as a vehicle technician or mechanic.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
Desirable (but not essential)
  • MOT Tester certification.
  • Experience with hybrid/electric vehicles.
  • Manufacturer training/accreditations.
