Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician and Diagnostic / Master Technician within a well-established Independent Used Car Specialist Centre located in Liverpool.

Duties
  • Carry out routine servicing and maintenance, including identifying and completing additional repair work arising from servicing, while working efficiently to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults across a variety of vehicles, including advanced diagnostics on Hybrid and EV models.
  • Assist with vehicle preparation, basic diagnostic tasks, and support the existing Diagnostic Technician.
  • Handle larger or more complex jobs related to prep and aftersales, ensuring all work is completed accurately and efficiently.
  • Work diligently at pace, maintaining workshop standards and supporting colleagues to uphold quality and productivity.
Requirements
  • A Fully Qualified Vehicle Technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent
  • A Current and Valid UK Driving Licence
  • Dedicated and committed approach.

The salary of this Vehicle Technician role is up to £35,000, and the salary of the Diagnostic / Master Technician role is up to £50,000.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are: Monday – Friday, 08:30 – 17:30, 1 in 3 Saturdays, 08:00 – 12:00.
