Job summary

A leading automotive repair agency is urgently seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a client's team in Fulham. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of vehicle systems and experience in delivering high-quality repairs and maintenance. Responsibilities include performing detailed inspections, routine servicing, and diagnosing issues using diagnostic tools. A full UK driving licence is required, and experience with hybrid or EV vehicles is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Additional qualifications (e.g. hybrid or EV experience) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Job Overview:

Vibe Auto is urgently seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join our client's team on a permanent basis, based in Fulham. This role is ideal for an experienced automotive professional with a strong understanding of vehicle systems and a commitment to delivering high‑quality repairs and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out detailed vehicle inspections to identify faults and required repairs
• Perform routine servicing and maintenance, including oil changes, tyre rotations, and brake inspections
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Repair or replace components such as engines, transmissions, brakes, and exhaust systems
• Accurately record all work completed and parts used
• Communicate clearly with customers regarding vehicle condition and repair recommendations
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and maintain a clean, organised working environment

Skills and Experience Required:

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar role
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Confident use of diagnostic equipment
• Excellent problem‑solving skills with strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills
• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance is desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence required
• Additional qualifications (e.g. hybrid or EV experience) are advantageous
