A leading automotive service provider in Carmarthen is seeking an Automotive Vehicle Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will be a qualified technician with NVQ Level 3 or equivalent, capable of carrying out servicing, repairs, and diagnostic testing on various vehicles. This position offers a competitive salary up to £34,000, alongside performance-related bonuses and opportunities for career progression within a multi-franchise dealer group. Work hours are Monday to Friday with select Saturdays.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Automotive Vehicle Technician / Vehicle Mechanic within a franchise-approved car dealer group located in Carmarthen.

Our Automotive Client has a need for a Vehicle Technician or Vehicle Mechanic who is motivated and able to work to their own initiative.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out servicing and repairs to a variety of vehicles.
• MOT testing.
• Performing diagnostic testing to identify vehicle faults.
• Ensuring that paperwork is completed to the highest of standards.

Qualifications

• A fully qualified vehicle technician NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
• A current and valid UK driving licence.

The salary of this role is up to £34,000 basic with OTE of £41,200.

Hours of work for this Vehicle Technician role are: Monday to Friday 8:30am‑5:30pm with 1 in 3 Saturdays 8:30am‑1:00pm paid at 1.25x.
