A leading product-based manufacturer in the UK is seeking a Product Testing & Applications Technician to join their engineering team. This role involves conducting technical testing and providing vehicle-related expertise. Ideal candidates will have hands-on experience with vehicle electrical systems and excellent communication skills. The position offers a salary of £40,000 - £45,000, along with discretionary bonuses and a standard workweek of 37.5 hours from Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience with vehicle electrical systems, preferably HGV or commercial vehicles.
• Confident in installation and modification of electrical systems.
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct technical testing and evaluation of products and systems.
• Provide vehicle-related technical expertise for product development.
• Lead the installation of trial systems on vehicles.

Skills

Hands-on experience with vehicle electrical systems

Installation, diagnosis, and modification of electrical components

Familiar with Microsoft 365

Detail-oriented and self-motivated

Excellent communication skills

Flexibility to travel within the UK
