Qualifications

  • Qualified as a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
  • Experience in carrying out major vehicle services and repairs.
  • Valid driving licence with strict point requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Carry out interim, full and major vehicle services.
  • Complete necessary follow up repairs and replacement work.

Skills

Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
Full driving licence with no more than 9 points

Overview

£29,607 - £29,886 per annum. Average uncapped bonus of £3,600 per year (with potential to earn more). 5 days a week (This centre is closed on Sundays). Join Halfords as a Vehicle Service Technician where you will carry out interim, full and major services as well as any follow up repair and replacement work.

Responsibilities

Such work includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension, amongst others.

  • Carry out interim, full and major vehicle services

Skills and Experience
  • Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
  • Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points
  • Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air conditioning service, etc.)
