Arnold Clark in Stoke-on-Trent is recruiting a Service Advisor to deliver a fantastic experience for service and vehicle repair customers. We are looking for a warm, articulate communicator who can give our customers star treatment on busy Mondays or Fridays.

This customer-facing role suits someone with prior customer service experience who enjoys exceeding expectations and creating positive outcomes. Hours are full-time, Monday to Friday 8am–5.30pm with alternate Saturdays 8am–12pm.

Qualifications

• A passion for great customer service and the confidence to resolve issues promptly.
• Demonstrable computer literacy and knowledge of IT systems.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy environment.
• Strong communication and influencing skills to explain information clearly.
• Strong organisational skills to schedule work effectively.
• Ability to prioritise workload.
• Ability to follow defined processes and guidelines.
• Good core administration skills to capture customer details.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customer requirements for service and repairs in an efficient and professional manner.
• Liaise with workshop and bodyshop to progress work through the system.
• Control all computer-based jobs, purchasing and invoice processes, ensuring the financial interests of the customer and the company are protected.
• Inform customers of any faults or repairs found on their vehicle and provide clear and accurate solutions.
• Treat dissatisfied customers with empathy and understanding, reassuring them that issues can be resolved.
• Maintain customer records such as vehicle details and service histories accurately and efficiently.
• Upsell where appropriate and maintain knowledge of aftersales products and services.
