Arnold Clark in Derby is seeking a Service Advisor to deliver a fantastic experience for service and vehicle repair customers. You will be an articulate, warm communicator who provides star treatment during busy and calm periods.

Qualifications

• A passion for great customer service and ability to resolve issues efficiently.
• Strong computer literacy and familiarity with IT systems.
• The ability to multi-task in a busy environment and stay organised.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to explain information clearly.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Willingness to follow defined processes and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Handle all customer requirements for service and vehicle repairs efficiently.
• Liaise with workshop and bodyshop to progress work through the system.
• Manage computer-based jobs, purchasing and invoicing to protect customer and company interests.
• Inform customers of faults or repairs found and provide clear, accurate solutions.
• Empathise with dissatisfied customers and resolve issues when they arise.
• Maintain accurate customer records such as vehicle details and service histories.
• Maintain knowledge of aftersales products and services and upsell where appropriate.
• Keep the customer database updated and accurate at all times.
