Job summary

Our client, a reputable three-site automotive repair business based in Cardiff, is expanding and seeking a skilled Vehicle Service Advisor to join their team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals to progress their career within a dynamic and growing organisation.

Salary up to £36,270 per annum, with 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays and other benefits. The role requires proven experience in the automotive service sector and excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
• IT literacy, with familiarity with dealership management systems (Kerridge preferred but not mandatory).
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage workload and customer deadlines efficiently in a busy service department.
• Liaise closely with the workshop team to chase work in progress.
• Keep customers informed throughout the service and repair process.
• Upsell additional products and services to maximise workshop efficiency.
• Deliver high levels of customer service to ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Allocate tasks effectively among team members and prioritise customer needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation and utilise IT systems (Kerridge experience preferred but not essential).
• Build strong, lasting relationships with customers and colleagues.
