Perfect Placement UK Ltd in Cardiff is recruiting for a Vehicle Service Bookings Advisor to join a well-established, multi-franchise car dealership. You will manage customer appointments, provide outstanding service and support the service department to run smoothly.

The role offers a basic salary up to £28,000 with on-target earnings around £34,000, 22 days holiday (25 with length of service), and manufacturer-accredited training.

Qualifications

• Experience in a contact centre, service reception, or call-handling is desirable but not essential.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner.
• Interest in automotive retail and a career in this sector.

Responsibilities

• Handle incoming service department calls and enquiries.
• Book customer vehicles for scheduled services and MOTs.
• Manage and update service diaries across multiple brands.
• Pre-prepare documentation for customer appointments.
• Provide clear pricing and obtain customer authorisation for services.
• Upsell service plans and additional repairs after vehicle health checks.
• Assist in creating a seamless customer experience and high satisfaction.
• Support workshop teams by prioritising and coordinating appointments.
• Maintain accurate records of bookings and communications.

We are recruiting for the position of Vehicle Service Bookings Advisor on behalf of our client, a well-established, multi-franchise approved car dealership in Cardiff. As a Vehicle Service Bookings Advisor, you will play a vital role in managing customer appointments, providing exceptional service, and supporting the efficient operation of the service department.

Duties of a Service Bookings Advisor

Requirements of a Service Bookings Advisor

• Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional manner
• An interest in the automotive industry and a genuine desire to build a career in this sector
• IT literate and comfortable using booking systems and office software
• Excellent communication skills, both over the phone and in writing
• Organised and capable of managing multiple tasks effectively
• A proactive attitude and a team-oriented approach
