Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-run automotive business in South Wiltshire for a Vehicle Service Advisor role. You will be the first point of contact at the service department, delivering outstanding customer service and coordinating with the workshop team.

The role offers a salary of £30,000–£35,000 per annum, 20 days’ annual leave plus bank holidays, ongoing training, and a 42.5-hour week with shifts 8:00–5:30 or 8:30–6:00.

Qualifications

• Recent or current experience as a Vehicle Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry.
• Strong organisational skills and IT literacy.
• Excellent communication skills to deliver outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Meet and greet customers at the Service Department front desk.
• Coordinate with the workshop team to monitor work in progress and communicate updates to customers.
• Schedule vehicle services, maintenance, and repairs.
• Source and supply parts required by the workshop team.
• Upsell additional services and products where appropriate.
• Maintain a high standard of customer service through effective communication and organisation.
• Keep accurate records of vehicle service history and customer interactions.

The successful Service Advisor will play a crucial role at the front desk, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring efficient communication between customers and the workshop team.
