Career Choices Dewis Gyrfa Ltd, assisting a franchise-approved vehicle dealership in Newport, seeks an experienced Vehicle Service Advisor. You will greet customers, schedule service work, and liaise with the workshop to keep customers informed.

The role offers a salary up to £32,000 with a potential £8,000 annual bonus and an achievable £40,000 OTE, plus 25 days of leave plus 8 bank holidays and additional benefits including training programmes and discounts.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Service Advisor or similar role within the automotive industry.
• Exceptional communication skills with a customer-focused approach.
• Strong organisational skills and IT literacy.
• A full UK driving licence with minimal penalty points.
• A stable customer-facing career background is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide exceptional customer service within the Service Department.
• Schedule service, maintenance, or repair work, including arranging courtesy vehicles when necessary.
• Liaise with the workshop to monitor vehicle progress and keep customers informed.
• Upsell additional products and services where appropriate.
• Collaborate with the Service Manager, Service Reception Manager, and a team of Advisors and Technicians.
• Manage customer appointments efficiently, prioritise workloads, and ensure total customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records using relevant IT systems; experience with Kerridge/ADP is desirable.
• Uphold high standards of professionalism and represent the prestige brand positively.
