Position: Vehicle Inspector
Location: Peterborough (PE2)
Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Day time hours (08:00-16:00)
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

• Be involved with the completion and of the inbound inspection vehicles that are delivered to site
• All damage to be inputted accurately to the inspection system used on site
• Completing the inspection of daywork vehicles first thing in the morning to process through the pavilion
• Inspecting vehicles to the standards that are being met in line with customers requirements
• Accurate input of data into the handheld technology with full assessment of the vehicle being made
• Other requests within the inspection area from your line manager or team leader to cover final QC and transporter lane

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

• Previous vehicle inspection and repair work experience is essential
• Previous experience in the automotive industry would be desirable
• Strong communication at various levels - ability to assess individual customer needs
• Proven abilities of process management and managing multiple priorities
• Strong IT skills
• Hold a full, clean driving license
