The University of Greater Manchester is seeking two Variable Hours Tutors (VHTs) to join the School of Engineering and Built Environment for the 2025–26 academic year. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals or academics to contribute to the delivery of high-quality teaching and laboratory-based learning across undergraduate and postgraduate Electrical and Electronic Engineering programmes, including apprenticeship provision.
You will support students’ academic and professional development through practical instruction, tutorials, and assessments, ensuring an engaging and inclusive learning experience. A key element of this role involves the delivery of teaching and practical sessions using MATLAB, Multisim, Altium, Proteus, and Arduino platforms. You will provide hands-on guidance and technical expertise to help students develop essential skills in circuit design, simulation, and embedded systems.
This role offers the opportunity to play a meaningful part in shaping the next generation of engineers through innovative, practical, and industry-relevant teaching.
