Overview

We are thrilled to partner with a dynamic, London-based property consultancy comprised of Chartered Surveyors who share a passion for the built environment. Due to continued business growth, they are seeking a qualified and RICS Registered Valuer to join their expanding Valuation Team, working across both residential and commercial property sectors.

The Valuation Team specialises in providing Red Book valuations for loan security and collaborates with a wide range of lenders. Typical assignments include valuations of flats, houses, multi-unit blocks, HMOs, commercial properties (with or without residential units above), and development consultancy projects.

Requirements
  • MRICS / RICS Registered Valuer
  • Minimum 2 years PQE
Key Responsibilities
  • Undertake valuations of diverse commercial and residential properties
  • Prepare Red Book valuations for loan security and regulatory purposes
  • Advise property owners on redevelopment opportunities
  • Conduct development appraisals and understand town planning considerations
  • Prioritise and manage tasks to meet deadlines efficiently
  • Deliver accurate, detailed reports with exceptional attention to detail
  • Exercise discretion and professionalism in all dealings
  • Prepare ad-hoc advice within tight timeframes
  • Complete valuation tasks for review with senior colleagues
  • Track valuations and associated fees, identifying profitability and growth opportunities
  • Present monthly figures and forecast targets
  • Explore and propose new valuation business verticals
