Location: Remote (with occasional travel required)

Salary: Circa £55k per annum d.o.e

Contract: Permanent

Hours: Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About You

An experienced UX Content Lead who combines strong strategic thinking with a genuinely hands-on approach. You are comfortable owning content end-to-end, from shaping direction and priorities through to writing, editing and maintaining content yourself. You bring depth of experience and are motivated by ownership, taking responsibility for shaping, creating and improving content with a strong focus on craft, quality and user impact.

You enjoy working closely with product, coaching and support colleagues, translating insight into clear, inclusive, person-centred content that helps users take meaningful action.

What Youll Be Doing

Reporting directly to the Head of Product youll lead on Brain in Hands UX and coaching-related digital content strategy and its day-to-day delivery. This is a senior individual contributor role: you will think strategically about how content supports user outcomes and the product roadmap, while remaining closely involved in the hands-on creation, maintenance and improvement of content.

Youll work with a high degree of autonomy, taking responsibility for prioritising, delivering and improving content with minimal day-to-day direction, while staying closely aligned with product, coaching and support colleagues.

Youll play a key role in ensuring our in-app content, solution guidance and help centre materials are clear, consistent, evidence-based and genuinely useful for users, enabling greater independence and engagement outside of coaching sessions.

Your Responsibilities
Content strategy
  • Develop a strong understanding of our users, clients, coaches and business priorities.
  • Own and evolve a content strategy that supports user experience goals and measurable user outcomes.
  • Align content with the product vision and roadmap, ensuring it evolves alongside new features and directions.
  • Embed content thinking into product planning and cross-functional work through active collaboration, not delegation.
  • Explore and contribute to external partnerships that support the creation of high-quality content, while retaining personal ownership of core content.
Content management and operations
  • Design and maintain fit-for-purpose content creation and management processes.
  • Establish review and release workflows that balance speed with accuracy, consistency and quality.
  • Work to existing tone of voice, editorial guidelines and content governance, and co-develop future iterations with the wider content team.
  • Collaborate closely with Product, Marketing, Coaching and Customer Support to prioritise and deliver content efficiently.
  • Use analytics and qualitative insight to evaluate content effectiveness and guide continuous improvement.
User Experience Content
  • Build and maintain a high-quality library of solution content that helps users get started quickly, understand their situation and make progress towards their goals.
  • Create and maintain concise, in-the-moment, person-centred text-based solution content.
  • Develop and trial rich media content (video, audio and imagery) to better engage and support users, coordinating production where needed.
  • Own and manage the Help Centre, ensuring tutorials, FAQs and guidance materials are accurate, up to date and easy to navigate.
Coaching content
  • Develop content that supports coaches to deliver consistently high-quality support.
  • Create content that helps users prepare for coaching sessions and sustain meaningful change after them.
What Youll Bring To Brain In Hand
  • Proven experience in UX writing, content design, content strategy or digital content management.
  • A strong track record of being hands-on with content creation, not just setting direction.
  • Comfort working autonomously, using judgement to prioritise work and move from insight to delivery independently.
  • Exceptional writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas with empathy, clarity and authority.
  • A good understanding of neurodiversity, person-centred approaches and inclusive communication.
  • Experience working with multi-format content including text, video, audio and imagery.
  • Confidence working directly with multiple stakeholders to shape and deliver content.
  • Comfort using AI-assisted writing tools responsibly as part of your own workflow.
  • An analytical mindset, using insight and data to continually improve content quality and effectiveness.

  • Users are able to get started independently and engage more frequently outside of coaching sessions because the content is clear, relevant and easy to use.
  • UX, solution and coaching content feels consistent and coherent across digital and human touchpoints.
  • Content is delivered consistently and proactively, with the role operating independently while staying closely aligned to product and coaching priorities.
  • High-quality content is created, maintained and improved efficiently, without reliance on large teams or layers of approval.
  • Insight from coaching delivery is regularly translated into practical, scalable content that supports current and future users.

Where Youll Work

We trust our teams to work remotely, from anywhere in the UK. That said, the Product team meet every couple of months to collaborate and support one another so youll need to be willing to travel. There might be times when youll need to travel to other UK locations for meetings or events but these will be planned ahead of time.
