Methods is recruiting a User Researcher on a permanent basis to champion the user and ensure evidence-based decision making. You will plan and conduct studies, recruit participants, analyse data and present insights to the product team.

Qualifications

• Experience undertaking user research and gathering user requirements.
• Knowledge of user centred design practices and GDS guidelines.
• Experience working in agile multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Championing the user
• Planning and conducting user research, recruitment briefs, analysis and presentation of findings
• Collaborating with the product team to turn research findings into prototypes and features
• Presenting research findings, user insight and recommendations to the product team
• Promoting user centered design principles within government
• Designing, scripting and analysing quantitative surveys
• Undertaking qualitative/quantitative research projects
• Managing day-to-day operations with usability and market research agencies
